1.)        The saddles are very light, soft and supple;
2.)        They conform to the horse’s back;
3.)        They mould to the rider’s shape;
4.)         They spread the rider’s weight across a wider area of the horse’s back,  thus avoiding any pressure
spots;
5.)        They allow the horse to move with free and easy movements and to stretch out from the shoulder,
with a long, low outline and an easy stride;
6.)        They allow you to feel your horse move;
7.)        They help the rider to develop a deep, classical and secure seat;
9.)        They fit all breeds of horses;
10.)        They fit “hard to fit types” having a barrel body, short back, no withers;
11.)        They are cost-effective because one saddle will fit several horses;
12.)        They can be used in all seasons;
13.)        No re-flocking is ever required.
Question: Why should I consider a Treeless Saddle?
Carol: Here are the 12 reasons for going Treeless:
Question: Will I need help with fitting  on a Treeless Saddle?
Carol: Contrary to common belief the Treeless Saddles do require some care with fitting the horse. Unlike
with a treed saddle, the fitting exercise with treeless is pretty simple and you with your basic knowledge
on horses and riding can do that. The fitting exercise with a treeless saddle requires getting the right tack
that can support the saddle. Here is what you will need for a treeless saddle to work for you:
  a) A good anti-slip saddle pad that is meant for treeless saddles. When using a treeless saddle, a good pad
can make all the difference. Try out a couple of pads if you and your horse are not comfortable with the
saddle. If your horse shows any sign of discomfort, consult an expert before trying out more with the
saddle.
  b) A good anti-slip girth will help keep the saddle from slipping. To further avoid any chances of
slippage, always use a mounting block to mount and dismount from the saddle.
  c) If pad and girth are not giving you confidence against saddle slippage, use a good breastplate to avoid
slipping.
Question: Will a treeless saddle fit my horse with high withers?
Carol: Different people will give you a different answer to this question. In my experience, the treeless
saddles fit the high wither horses just fine. When you get trouble, you can try setting the saddle right
behind the wither. Again, please use your common sense and listen to you horse. He/She will be great in
telling you if the saddle doesn't work.
Question: Will a treeless saddle fit my horse with flat withers?
Carol: The chances of saddle slippage are more with a horse who has flat withers. With proper tack
combination you can mitigate that risk.
Question: I am over 200lbs, can I still use your treeless saddles?
Carol: We do not recommend our treeless saddles to the folks over 200lbs. Even for riders that are less
than 200lbs, we recommend to use caution and observe your horse behavior before taking him/her out on a
long ride.
Please feel free to write to me if you have any
questions about anything related to horse riding
and/or Treeless Saddle..-
